This year’s stamp is dedicated to prisoners of war, those missing in action, and their families.
It is about those who continue to fight in captivity; about those who are waiting at home, and about the faith in the most anticipated meeting.

The voting is taking place as part of the “We Are Waiting!” contest. Ukrainians are offered to choose one of the seven sketches that will become the basis for the future stamp.
Votes can be cast from June 15 to June 24: to do this, in the Diia app, you need to open the “Surveys” section, find the voting for the postage stamp for Independence Day, review the sketches, and choose the one that resonates the most.
The results of the voting will remain hidden until the winner is announced.
The contest was organized by Ukrposhta together with the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
