In Stockholm, with the support of the Swedish government, the Ukrainian Unity Center Unity Hub Stockholm was opened, according to the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine.
According to Deputy Minister Ilona Gavronskaya, in EU countries, about 4.3 million Ukrainians are under temporary protection, with over 45,000 in Sweden. The opening of the Unity Centers is intended to maintain contact with citizens abroad and provide them with reliable information for decisions about their future.
In Unity Hub Stockholm, Ukrainians will be able to receive consultations on temporary protection status, stay and integration in Sweden, employment, as well as support for those considering returning to Ukraine.
The center will also become a platform for cultural, educational, and community events that will strengthen the unity of the Ukrainian community and its connection with Ukraine.
For visitors, the center will open on June 22, 2026. It will operate in test mode from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 by prior email appointment.
The project is implemented by the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in cooperation with the National Unity Agency and in partnership with Swedish and Ukrainian parties.
The first Ukrainian Unity Center in Europe was opened on April 15, 2026, in Berlin. Since then, over 2,000 visitors have used its services.
