More opportunities for house restoration: changes in the “VidnovyDIM” program

Starting from August 28, Ukrainian homeowners’ associations (HOAs) will benefit from expanded opportunities for restoring war-damaged buildings thanks to new changes in the “VідновиДІМ” program. The Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund has approved significant updates that will improve the conditions for receiving grants for the repair of residential buildings affected by Russian aggression.

Key changes in the program:

Expanded list of eligible activities:
Grant funds can now be used for emergency repairs, such as restoring the integrity and load-bearing capacity of walls and their elements, floor slabs, coverings, and roofing, as well as performing reinforcing belts and other important repair work.

Increased maximum grant amount:
The maximum grant amount that an HOA can receive for a single restoration project has been increased from 8 million UAH to 8.8 million UAH. This will allow for covering a larger scope of work and restoring larger apartment buildings.

Changes in the requirements for the partner bank certificate:
HOAs are now required to provide the Fund with a certificate of an open current account and confirmation of the Beneficiary’s identity. The certificate must be issued by the partner bank in the form approved by the cooperation agreement between the Fund and the partner bank.

Changes in the contractor’s questionnaire form:
A new question has been added to the contractor’s questionnaire, requiring confirmation that the contractor has sufficient labor and material resources to fulfill the contract with the Beneficiary.

We have also previously reported that registration for manufacturers to participate in the “National Cashback” program has begun.
