The Lutsk city organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the Norwegian Red Cross, handed over specialized backpacks for providing psychological first aid to volunteer fire departments.
Volunteer rescuers are usually the first to arrive at emergency scenes. The new equipment will help them:
- stabilize the psycho-emotional state of those affected in a timely manner;
- increase the community’s readiness to respond to crises;
- strengthen community resilience in emergency situations.
