Director of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEQA) Tetyana Vakulenko called for not undermining trust in the national multi-subject testing system and uniting efforts to support it. She stated this during her speech in the Verkhovna Rada.
Vakulenko emphasized that the current difficulties in organizing the NMT cannot be considered in isolation from the realities of war: air alarms, security restrictions, and the load on educational institutions that ensure the operation of temporary examination centers.
Among the specific tasks she focused on are the arrangement of temporary examination centers in shelters, assistance to schools and universities in preparing spaces for testing, as well as informing teenagers about their rights and responsibilities during the NMT.
The NMT boat is being rocked simply because we are not in a comfortable bay. We are in a constantly stormy ocean… Undermining trust in the system is easy, and for this, Russia, as the main destroyer, is enough for us.

Instead, she called on all those who care about the future of Ukraine to “get on board and become part of the team”: together, to lead the NMT system through the challenges of wartime.
The speech took place against the backdrop of a public discussion about the format and organization of the NMT in a state of war.
