At night, as a result of the enemy’s strike on the railway infrastructure of the Sumy region, a worker of one of the railway facilities died, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.
According to preliminary information, during the air alarm, the woman was heading to a mobile shelter installed at the facility. The monitoring group had previously warned of increased danger.
Another worker – an electric centralization post – was hospitalized. Doctors diagnosed a pelvic fracture and internal bleeding.
She has already been operated on. We are in constant contact with the doctors to provide our injured colleague with everything necessary.

Despite the attack, train traffic has been preserved. Some trains are running with a delay of up to two hours from the schedule.
Ukrzaliznytsia expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and promised to provide all necessary support.
