The Culture Helps Solidarity program has opened the acceptance of applications for individual grants of up to 1,200 euros for cultural managers, artists, and activists working with veterans or displaced persons.
The funds are intended to support the mental health of the program participants themselves – they can be directed to psychotherapy, stress management training, art therapy sessions, retreats, or other measures that help overcome war-related stress.
It is not allowed to spend the grant on third parties – relatives, friends, or acquaintances.
Adults who reside in Ukraine or have left after February 24, 2022, for EU countries or other participating countries of the Creative Europe program, and are actively involved in the reintegration of veterans or integration of displaced persons and have experienced war-related stress themselves can apply.
Application acceptance will last until June 29, 2026, at 14:00 Kyiv time.
The project is implemented by the European Cultural Foundation, “Alternative Education”, zusa, and the VETERANKA movement with the financial support of the EU Creative Europe program.
