Key points

402 entrepreneurs from the creative sector received grants under the “Own Business” program, with a total funding amount exceeding UAH 141 million.

Most entrepreneurs chose a grant of UAH 500,000, which was received by over 37% of all grant recipients. The second most popular grant was UAH 100,000, chosen by over 20% of participants.

Support is aimed at small and micro-businesses in the fields of culture, creative industries, and creative entrepreneurship. Most grants were received by entrepreneurs working in:

Among the grant recipients, almost 70% were women. The most active age groups were entrepreneurs between 26-35 and 36-45 years old.

Most projects will be implemented in Kyiv, Lviv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Odesa regions.

The “Own Business” program provides grants from UAH 100,000 to 1 million for starting or scaling a business.

For amounts over UAH 500,000, a co-financing scheme applies: 70% is provided by the state, and 30% is invested by the entrepreneur. Funds can be directed towards:
