In May, the mobile medical brigades of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided medical assistance to over 3,000 residents of Sumy region.

The brigades travel to remote villages to people who do not have access to medical services. Specialists conduct general examinations, measure blood pressure, glucose levels, and oxygen levels.

Patients are provided with free over-the-counter medication, referred to specialists, or transported to hospitals if necessary.

To ensure that no one is left without attention, specialists from mobile medical brigades conduct examinations at home for patients with limited mobility.

The priority remains the most remote and border villages, where access to medical care is complicated due to the security situation.
