DTEK launched ‘I CAN’ – Ukraine’s first job matching tool for people with disabilities, including veterans, in industrial enterprises.
The tool changes the logic of personnel selection: instead of a diagnosis, it assesses a person’s professional potential, skills, and experience.
According to DTEK’s HR and Academy Director Olena Semich, this is a practical solution for real production conditions. Currently, 104 veterans with disabilities are already working in the company.
At the presentation, Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yulia Kirillova spoke. She noted that employment is one of the key elements of a dignified return of veterans to civilian life, and the success of this work is impossible without the active participation of employers.
The company added that support for veterans is systemic – from accompaniment during service and return to the team to training, requalification, and creation of an inclusive environment.
