Over 500 rescuers of the State Emergency Service have been involved in eliminating the consequences of Russia’s overnight attack on Ukraine, reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

In Dnipro, rescuers are working at the site of a partially destroyed four-story building: 12 people were killed, including two children. 22 injured are still in hospitals, the search operation at the site of the destruction is ongoing.

In Kyiv, 6 people were killed as a result of the strike, dozens of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged. 38 people are in Kyiv hospitals.

Attacks were also carried out on the energy sector of Kharkiv region, critical infrastructure of Kharkiv, and facilities in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

Russia launched 656 strike drones and 73 missiles – ballistic, cruise, and anti-ship – at Ukraine.
