The government has adopted a resolution that allows launching the entire list of categories for submitting claims for reparations for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, as reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
After technical implementation, citizens, authorities, and businesses will be able to submit claims through the Diia application under 14 new categories. New services will become available gradually.
Previously, citizens could apply to the Register in 16 categories: damage or destruction of housing, forced displacement, death of a close family member, disappearance, torture, sexual violence, and other damages from RF aggression.
Now the list has been expanded: Ukrainians will also be able to record the loss of access to medical care and education, other economic losses, and violations of humanitarian law.
State authorities, local self-government bodies, and state institutions will have the opportunity to claim environmental damage, plunder of natural resources, and demining costs.
Separate categories are provided for fixing damage to cultural heritage, humanitarian costs to support the population, and other property losses.
Entrepreneurs will be able to register damage or destruction of cultural valuables, relocation and evacuation costs, as well as humanitarian and other economic losses.
