In April 2026, the average salary in Ukraine was UAH 30,515, which is 0.5% more than in March, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The highest level of salaries was recorded in Kyiv – UAH 48,003. Kyiv region took second place – UAH 30,584.
The smallest salaries are in Kirovohrad (UAH 21,199) and Chernivtsi (UAH 21,687) regions.
Among the industries, the highest paid jobs are in the information and telecommunications sector – UAH 77,861, the lowest paid are in the arts, sports, and entertainment sector: UAH 19,855.
The debt for unpaid wages as of May 1 is UAH 3.7 billion.
