Veterans who have completely or partially lost their vision will receive one-time financial assistance

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the implementation of a joint project of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Ukrainian Red Cross, under which veterans with complete or partial vision loss will receive one-time financial assistance of up to 95,000 UAH.

345 defenders who lost their vision while defending Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity will be able to take advantage of this assistance.

The funds are intended for household arrangement and creation of a safer living space. The payment will be made regardless of the receipt of other types of assistance.

The program starts on July 1, 2026. The application procedure and detailed mechanism for receiving assistance will be announced separately.
