Rescuers of the evacuation group “Phoenix” evacuated 59 people from the front-line territories of Druzhkivka and Sviatohirska communities in Donetsk region since the beginning of May, reported in State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Among the evacuees – 4 children and 14 low-mobility individuals.
Particular attention was paid by emergency responders to people who need additional assistance during evacuation, including low-mobility citizens, the elderly, and those who cannot leave the dangerous territory on their own.
Rescuers personally communicated with residents of front-line settlements about the risks of staying in the area of constant shelling and emphasized the need to leave for safer regions of the country.
