In the National Reserve “Chernihiv Ancient”, a video tour of the Chernihiv Savior in Ukrainian sign language was presented.

The initiative aims to expand access to cultural heritage and create an accessible cultural space open to everyone.

The project was implemented with the participation of sign language interpreter Lyudmila Babenko. The team of “Suspilne Chernihiv” also took part in the creation of the video tour.

The Chernihiv Savior is a monument of the XI century and a symbol of the thousand-year history of the city.

The video tour tells how one of the oldest churches of Rus arose and developed, why the Savior became an important spiritual and political center of the Chernihiv principality, and what architectural and historical features make the cathedral a unique monument of Ukrainian heritage.
