On May 27, the world celebrates the World Day of Emergency Medical Care – a professional holiday for paramedics, emergency doctors, paramedics, dispatchers, and resuscitators.
The date is intended to draw attention to the work of specialists, the speed and professionalism of which depends on the lives of people in critical situations.
In Ukraine, the holiday has been taking place for the fifth year in a row under the conditions of a full-scale war. Ambulance teams respond to calls under sirens and shelling, risking their own lives.
In March, Russians attacked an ambulance in the Kharkiv region. Unfortunately, two doctors were killed. We remember those who died saving others.
