25 Kyiv families raising children with disabilities received charging stations to ensure energy resilience of housing before the next winter.
Assistance became possible thanks to the support of Kyiv’s sister city – Tallinn. The Estonian capital transferred over 1 million UAH to the Kyiv City Center for Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities, and the funds were directed to the purchase of charging stations.
The supported families are from the Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts – those that were most affected by the consequences of Russian attacks last winter. Among them are families raising children with complex forms of disability, large families, and those where a child is raised by one parent.
For such families, stable access to electricity is a necessary condition for daily childcare.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Tallinn has been helping the capital – providing humanitarian aid, ambulances, and organizing recreation for Ukrainian children.

The stations were handed over to the families together with the Deputy Mayor of Tallinn Riina Sollman, who arrived in Kyiv with a delegation from the Estonian capital.
