At the VDNG, presented an art project “Inclusivity is when you can see a person behind the words”.
The exhibition is part of the National Inclusivity Week 2026 and talks about respect, dignity, and inclusive communication – when you see a person first, not their diagnosis, status, or life circumstances.
13 Ukrainian artists participated in the creation of the exposition: Ivan Kravets, Maria Foya, Marta Koshulinska, Anna Ptaха, Oleg Gryshchenko, Katya Lisova, Anna Sarvira, Svitlana Hryb, Oksana Drachkovska, Yevheniya Polosina, Sashko Danylenko, Mariana Mykytiuk, and Olga Degtyaryova.
The exhibition can be seen from May 27, 2026, on the central alley of the VDNG in Kyiv. After that, the exposition will be presented in communities across Ukraine thanks to the network of inclusivity ambassadors.
Words can destroy stereotypes or, on the contrary, strengthen stigma and discrimination. That’s why inclusion and equality begin with how we talk to each other and about other people. It’s very important to see a person first, their opportunities, dignity, and right to be included in the life of society.

The project is part of the all-Ukrainian campaign of social changes “Inclusivity is when you can” implemented within the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, “Without Barriers” in partnership with UNICEF, the Ministry of Culture, the Presidential Commissioner for Barriers, and the NGO “Inclusivity”.
The National Inclusivity Week will last from May 25 to 31 in Ukraine.
