Today, May 25, Ukraine and the world mark International Missing Children’s Day
For Ukraine, this date has a special, painful context, as the risks to the safety of the smallest citizens have increased due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian children face separation from their families, forced displacement, and loss of contact every day – in combat zones and on occupied territories.
The Office of the Ombudsman emphasized: in case of a child’s disappearance, one should immediately contact the police.
If a child’s rights are violated, Ukrainians can contact the Office of the Ombudsman in person at the address: 21/8 Institutskaya Street, Kyiv.

International Missing Children’s Day is marked every year on May 25 to draw attention to the problem of missing children around the world.
