Key points

In the village of Pidbirchi near Lviv, a spiritual and sports complex with football fields, a kindergarten, a medical and rehabilitation center, and a parking lot will be built, reported in the Lviv City Council.

The initiator of the project is the Religious Administration of the Salesian Monasteries of the Eastern Rite in Ukraine of the UGCC.

The complex will be built on Chervona Kalyna Street, 3.

The total area of the site is 7 hectares. Of these, 4.8 hectares will be occupied by buildings, and another 2.7 hectares will be allocated for sports grounds and rehabilitation infrastructure.

There are plans for three full-size football fields, one training field, and seven buildings of different sizes and heights. The total area of the closed buildings will be about 7,800 square meters, all objects will be united into a single architectural ensemble.

There are both open and closed sports and rehabilitation facilities, including football infrastructure, sports and rehabilitation rooms. In addition, public spaces will be formed on the territory of the complex, which can be used by residents of Pidbirchi and surrounding villages.

The sports training building will have dressing rooms, training and sports halls, stands, a pool, and saunas.

The complex will also include a medical and rehabilitation building, a dining room with a kitchen, an auditorium, a chapel, recreational areas, and a landscape park – including for the needs of veterans and football players with disabilities.
