The Ministry of Internal Affairs is expanding the free higher education program for veterans – this year, enrollment under the state order is open to 11 educational institutions of the ministry’s system. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.

Policemen, rescuers, border guards, and national guards who were dismissed from service due to health conditions can take advantage of this program.

Currently, 1,673 veterans are studying in the higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. Another 820 have already received their diplomas and acquired a new specialty.

Available specialties include psychology, cybersecurity, law enforcement, civil protection, and information technology.

Rehabilitation of an injured defender should not end in a medical institution. It is comprehensive when a person receives confidence in their future life, including their professional life.
