Late arrival at NMT caused by an air alert during the trip to the exam center is a valid reason for participating in an additional session. This was noted by Natalia Yur, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Center for Quality Education Assessment, during a webinar dedicated to the testing procedure.

During an air alert, the NMT participant must be in a safe place. If they have already arrived at the testing point, they should follow the instructors’ instructions or visual signs of movement and stay there until the start of admission.

If admission has already begun, and the participant cannot arrive on time, they must submit an application to participate in an additional session within three days, including the day of testing.

The reason for not being able to arrive on time should be indicated as an air alert.

Applications will be reviewed by the regulatory commission at the regional center for quality education assessment.

It will consider whether there was an air alert in the region at that time and whether its duration affected the participant’s ability to arrive at the exam center.
