The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU) has launched the “Personal Cabinet” service, which allows citizens to independently and in real-time check for temporary restrictions on travel abroad.
The service on the official portal of the SBGSU only displays bans imposed on the basis of court decisions and orders of the State Executive Service. This refers to restrictions related to non-payment of alimony, fines, and other debts.
Restrictions in effect due to martial law are not shown in the cabinet. This applies, in particular, to men aged 18-60 and individuals who are subject to the rules of crossing the state border – such bans are checked according to separate rules.
To use the service, you need to register through an electronic signature id.gov.ua, Diia.Signature, BankID, or KEP, and then log in to your personal cabinet. The system automatically checks the data in the SBGSU databases and provides the status: “No restrictions” or “There is a temporary restriction”.
The service is available around the clock from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Previously, citizens submitted a written request to the Main Center for Special Information Processing of the SBGSU by mail or in person and waited for a response for several weeks.
The SBGSU notes that the service does not cancel existing restrictions but allows for their quick detection and elimination before travel.
