20 women entrepreneurs receive €7,000 each to grow their businesses from Ukrainian Red Cross

The Ukrainian Red Cross provided €140,000 in grant support to 20 winners of the second stream of the REDpreneur Women program.

Each winner received €7,000 to launch and develop their own business. The final stage took place on May 15 – the participants presented their business plans to an expert jury.

During the presentation of the projects, women presented initiatives in the fields of education, environmental production, social entrepreneurship, agriculture, technology, medicine, local production, and inclusive services.

Among the winners:

  • production of orthopedic insoles “Foot Center”;
  • family workshop PLYN;
  • brand of beekeeping products “Gostinets from Pani Pchilki”;
  • brand of leather accessories TASHKA;
  • canine center “Time4dog”;
  • eco-production EKOIN;
  • production of fuel briquettes Pini-Kay.

Also, support was received by digital solutions – SaaS system for non-profit organizations Dobrolik, platform for eye movement tracking “Zorotrek”, educational spaces MaMaDi STEM and EMBDILab, as well as socially oriented initiatives in the field of rehabilitation and inclusion, in particular, a canine therapy space in Odessa, a location for express massage LegkeTilo and the SAVINSKY FAMILY CLINIC clinic.

During the program, the participants underwent training modules, mentoring sessions, and practical workshops aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills, financial and marketing planning, and forming stable business models.

REDpreneur Women is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross with the support of the Austrian fund NACHBAR IN NOT and the Austrian Development Agency.

The educational and mentoring component is being implemented in partnership with the Ukrainian Future Business Incubator.
