The Cabinet of Ministers approved the distribution of the subsidy for the payment of monetary compensation under the Ministry of Veterans’ housing program – UAH 5.67 billion will be directed to local budgets to provide housing for 2,150 families.
The funds will be received by veterans with disabilities of groups I-II, as well as family members of fallen Defenders.
Soon, the Ministry of Veterans will distribute the subsidy among the regions according to the monthly schedule.
After the funds are received on the treasury accounts, local managers will transfer the compensation to the recipients’ special accounts within 30 working days.
Recipients independently choose the housing they want to purchase. This can be real estate on the secondary market or on the primary market – provided that the object is put into operation.
