In Kyiv, the search and rescue operation at the site of the Russian missile strike on a residential building in the Darnytskyi district has been completed – 24 people were killed, including three children, reported the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

The operation lasted over 28 hours. Rescuers dismantled over 3,000 cubic meters of destroyed structures.

The State Emergency Service units have moved on to emergency restoration work.

Among the dead are a 12-year-old girl and girls aged 15 and 17. 48 people were injured, out of over 50 injured, 24 are currently in hospitals, receiving necessary medical care.

Almost 400 people received assistance from psychologists of the State Emergency Service and the National Police, who at the scene of the tragedy consulted the victims and their relatives.

On May 15, a day of mourning was declared in Kyiv for those killed as a result of the massive attack by Russia on the capital on the night of May 14 – the most massive since the start of the full-scale invasion.
