The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine has announced the start of the application process for the positions of War Veterans and Demobilized Personnel Support Specialists.
Candidates can submit their applications exclusively in electronic form through the e-Veteran web platform. The Ministry has created a special electronic service on this platform for the convenient submission of required documents. After completing the form, applicants must confirm the authenticity of the submitted information using an electronic digital signature.
The application will then be forwarded to local authorities where the “War Veterans and Demobilized Personnel Support Specialist” vacancy is open, for further review by the selection committee. Applicants will receive an email with instructions on the next steps.

The War Veterans and Demobilized Personnel Support Specialist will play a crucial role beyond the typical duties of social workers.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must:
- Be a citizen of Ukraine.
- Have at least a bachelor’s degree in the fields of “Education/Pedagogy,” “Social and Behavioral Sciences,” “Law,” “Healthcare,” “Social Work,” or “Public Administration.”
- Preference will be given to candidates with the status of war veteran, persons with special merits to the homeland, participants of the Revolution of Dignity, family members of deceased war veterans, and those listed in the Unified State Register of War Veterans (USRWV), in case of equal scores.
However, the primary focus during selection will be on the candidates’ professional qualities and their ability to provide effective services.
