On the night of May 12, Russia launched over 200 strike drones and carried out more than 30 airstrikes on Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
According to him, over 80 applications of guided aerial bombs were also recorded on the front line. Most of the drones were of the “Shahed” type.

Russia must end this war, and it is Russia that must take a step towards a real, lasting ceasefire. Until this happens, sanctions against Moscow are needed and must continue to work and be strengthened.

The massive attack occurred immediately after Russia unilaterally ended the partial ceasefire that had been in place for several days.
