From September 1, 2026, the small business support program ‘Own Business’ will operate under an updated model. The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded its capabilities — now it covers the full cycle of entrepreneur development: from the first idea to scaling an existing business.

The program has already proven its effectiveness. During its operation, micro-grants were received by over 34 thousand Ukrainians, 60 thousand jobs were created, and over 6.8 billion UAH were attracted to the economy — all within the framework of the government’s ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy.

Under the new model, the startup grant ranges from UAH 100k to 300k, with the possibility of increasing to UAH 500k. For those who already have a business and want to grow, scaling grants are provided — from UAH 500k to UAH 1.5 million, and under certain conditions — up to UAH 2.5 million. The amount of funding depends on the number of jobs created, the region, industry, and the applicant’s category.

Funds can be used for purchasing equipment, renting and renovating premises, digitalization, marketing, team expansion, and production development.

Conditions for vulnerable categories have been separately expanded. Combatants, people with war-related disabilities, their families, and families of fallen defenders can receive from UAH 300k to 500k. A grant of up to UAH 200k is provided for youth to start a business. Applications can be submitted via the Diia portal.
