Key points:
- The Ministry of Social Policy has launched a single digital platform for volunteers, charities and community organisations
- The platform facilitates the coordination of aid, the search for partners and the exchange of expertise
- The Ministry holds regular online meetings with community representatives to identify their actual needs
- Membership is open to all organisations via the registration form
The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has created a unified communication platform that brings together volunteers, charitable organisations and civil society organisations within a single digital space. The initiative is designed to facilitate interaction between civil society actors operating in wartime conditions.
The platform functions as a space for sharing experiences, finding partners and coordinating aid. Participants gain access to up-to-date information and the opportunity to establish links with other organisations across the country. This is particularly important for small regional initiatives that previously operated in isolation.
A separate area of work involves regular online meetings between the Ministry of Social Policy and community representatives. These enable the ministry to hear directly about the needs of people on the ground and to shape decisions in collaboration with those working in the field. This format of dialogue between the state and the civil sector is relatively new for Ukraine and is gradually becoming part of a systematic approach to social policy.
Any organisation or initiative can join the platform — to do so, simply fill in the registration form.
