On 2 May, Russian forces shelled Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging a bus carrying children and a student dormitory in Dnipro, the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha reported.
In Krynychky community, the enemy struck near a petrol station where a bus carrying around 40 children was parked. The children had managed to leave the vehicle before the attack, they were evacuated to a safe location and given psychological support.
A lorry also caught fire as a result of the strike.
Among the injured is a 10-year-old boy, who was hospitalised in a moderately serious condition.
Five adults were also taken to hospital, including a 21-year-old pregnant woman. A 40-year-old woman is in a serious condition, while the others are in a moderately serious condition.


In Dnipro, the strike damaged a dormitory, an administrative university building, a business centre, residential buildings, an outbuilding and several vehicles.
