Kyiv Zoo has launched a new family strand of its animal therapy project “Dobryi Palychnyk”. Service members can now attend a session with assistance animals together with their families.
During the session, families prepare food and treats together, create environmental enrichment items and take part in the husbandry of the animals.
Kyiv Zoo notes that both people and animals benefit from this interaction.
Participant groups are coordinated by Kyiv Military Hub.
