The Ukrainian Red Cross has provided cash assistance to people evacuated from front-line areas to transit centres in Zaporizhzhia and Lozova in Kharkiv region.
Support was received by 2,290 people from 1,535 households.
In line with the humanitarian response priorities for Ukraine in 2026, this form of cash assistance is aimed at supporting evacuated persons who registered at a transit centre within the first 45 days after displacement.
The aid is intended to support people during the first weeks after evacuation and to ease their adaptation to a new place of residence.
Each registered household received UAH 12,300 per family member to cover basic needs over a three-month period.
The programme was implemented with the support of the US government.
