The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the winners of the competition for projects working on Ukrainian national and civic identity. In 2026, 37 initiatives by civic organisations will receive state financial support, with a total funding pool of UAH 18 million.

The supported projects cover various areas of work on identity, including:

  • tented camps, training courses and field games for young people, which build civic resilience, leadership and readiness to act in crisis situations;
  • courses in pre-medical care, critical thinking and media literacy;
  • historical reenactments, travelling camps and programmes about the Ukrainian military and the struggle for independence;
  • cultural initiatives – the creation of digital content, video courses and platforms that promote Ukrainian traditions, language and art;
  • educational cyber projects, video libraries of stories, and tools to strengthen online safety.

These projects help people better understand who we are, what we rely on and what unites us. Through education, culture and work in communities, they foster a sense of togetherness and responsibility for the country. The state supports these initiatives so that such changes happen not in isolated cases, but across the whole country.
