The Ministry of Veterans Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has launched an AI assistant on the Veteran Pro portal that helps veterans and their families quickly find information about the services and benefits available to them.
Instead of manually searching through different sections of the portal, users can now type a question into the search bar in «AI» mode – and the system will provide an answer with links to the sources.
The chatbot draws on materials from the portal itself and the principal legal and regulatory acts in the field of veterans’ policy.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs notes that the service is informational in nature and does not replace consultation with a veterans’ support specialist.
The AI assistant is available at veteranpro.gov.ua – users simply need to switch the search bar to «AI» mode. Examples of possible queries include «What services are available to combat veterans?» or «Where can I apply for the status of a person with a war-related disability?».
Users can also log in via e-mail to save their query history.
Veteran Pro is a state-run digital platform created by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs to bring together information about programmes, services and benefits for the veteran community in one place. The platform was launched in late 2025.
