In March 2026, 89 children were killed or injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine. That is 65% more than in February. The figures come from the UN report on civilian casualties.
The main cause of civilian casualties remains strikes using long-range weapons – missiles and drones. In March alone, 80 children were injured, while four girls and five boys were killed.
