Applications are now open in Ukraine for a training programme for specialists in conducting gender audits. The organisers are accepting applications until 14:00 on 27 April 2026. The programme aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of public authorities to implement gender-sensitive approaches in policies and practices.
The training will take place in two formats — online and in-person. The distance learning phase is aimed at representatives of regional and Kyiv city military administrations. The in-person component involves the participation of both administration representatives and experts who work or plan to work with state bodies in the field of gender analysis and auditing.
The in-person sessions are scheduled for 20–22 May 2026. The programme includes intensive training on practical tools for gender auditing, policy and programme analysis, as well as engagement with regional authorities. The organisers will inform selected participants of the training location separately.

Selection for the Academy will be based on candidates’ professional experience. Consideration will be given to gender expertise, at least three years’ experience in the field, experience of working with public authorities, and involvement in the development of programmes and policies. Particular attention will be paid to participants’ willingness to continue supporting the conduct of gender audits in the regions.
The organisers note that the principle of equal rights and opportunities for women and men will be upheld during the selection process. Participation in the programme includes full coverage of training-related expenses, including travel, accommodation, meals and learning materials.
Only those candidates who pass the competitive stage will be notified of the selection results.
