In Ukraine, the collection of projects for the energy sector has begun

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, with the support of the Kyiv School of Economics, is conducting a call for investment projects in the energy sector. Selected projects will be used to better understand needs and create a project pipeline for funding programs from international financial institutions (IFIs) and development finance institutions (DFIs).

Proposed projects can cover all subsectors of energy, including those aimed at enhancing the resilience and energy independence of businesses, as well as projects related to flexible and distributed generation. The primary goal is to build a project base from the private sector, which relies on active business involvement in submitting proposals. The projects will later be showcased on a special investment portal, currently under development, and included in a sectoral investment guide.

“We maintain an ongoing dialogue with businesses and international partners to improve and simplify the process of securing funding for projects in Ukraine. An important aspect of this work is to present projects to potential investors and help determine funding priorities,” said Volodymyr Kuzio, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

To propose your own project, please fill out the form at the following link. The deadline for submissions is August 31: https://t.ly/BNyqM.

We have also reported that over 2 billion hryvnias in additional assistance have been disbursed to Ukrainian pensioners.
