Wetland birds have returned to the summer exhibit at Kyiv Zoo. Visitors can see the red ibis, sacred ibis, glossy ibis and little egret, according to the Kyiv City State Administration.
A space of more than 130 square metres and around 5 metres in height has been prepared for the birds. It has been covered with sand and wood chips to create conditions as close to natural as possible.
The aviary also features grass, shrubs, and ivy.
In addition, an artificial fountain and nesting areas have been installed.
The birds can be seen in the Lower Park of Kyiv Zoo. Entry to Kyiv Zoo is open until 5:00 PM, with visitors allowed to stay on the grounds until 6:30 PM.
