In Kyiv, emergency medical staff were injured during the overnight Russian attack on 16 April.

An ambulance team responded to a call during an air raid alert to provide assistance to the wounded.

According to the head of the Kyiv City State Administration staff, Dmytro Zahumennyi, a second Russian strike occurred while the medics were already working at the scene and assisting the injured.

The medical personnel and the ambulance driver sustained moderate injuries and were hospitalised in Kyiv.

This is not just an attack. It is deliberate terror against civilians and those who save them. A strike on medics is yet another demonstration that Russia is waging war against humanity itself.
