On 22 May 2026, Kyiv will host the 4th Annual Ukrainian Aid Leadership Conference. Registration is already open for participants.

The event will bring together representatives of civil society organisations, volunteer initiatives, international donors, government bodies, businesses, UN agencies and the academic community.

Organisers note that the conference is intended to serve as a platform for discussing the transformation of Ukraine’s role in the global international aid system – from a recipient country to a state shaping new approaches to resilience and recovery.

Participants will discuss:

  • changes in cooperation between the state and civil society organisations;
  • how to attract investment for Ukraine’s recovery;
  • the role of civil society in ensuring transparency in reconstruction processes;
  • how Ukraine’s experience is influencing approaches to humanitarian aid worldwide;
  • how the understanding of leadership is changing during the war and broader global shifts.

Registration for participants requiring accommodation will be open until 1 May, while it will remain open longer for other participants. Applications can be submitted via the link.
