In Berlin, Germany, the first Ukrainian Unity Centre in Europe will begin operating on 15 April, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine has announced.
We want the Centre in Berlin to become a space for maintaining our citizens’ connection with Ukraine, as well as a place where they can access verified information to help them make a decision about returning home.

The centre will provide consultations from the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Visitors will be able to receive information on pensions, housing subsidies, social benefits, and insurance contributions.
In addition, the space will host seminars, educational and cultural events, as well as advisory meetings on education and countering disinformation. Programmes in career guidance and digital skills training for both children and adults are also planned.
Ukrainians will also be able to receive information about returning to Ukraine.
The Centre in Berlin will be managed by the LLC “National Unity Agency”. After its opening, it will operate in a test mode, with updates published on its official Facebook page.
According to Eurostat, more than 4.3 million Ukrainians are currently under temporary protection in European Union countries. The largest number is in Germany, at around 1.2 million people.
