The State Tax Service of Ukraine (STSU) together with the Ministry for Veterans Affairs have launched a new tax support service for veterans who already run their own business or plan to start one.
The initiative includes personalised support at all stages of running a business – from its creation to the company’s ongoing operations.
The service will soon become available in STS offices across 20 regions of Ukraine.
For veterans, the following is provided:
- service without queues;
- a dedicated contact centre phone line;
- a special section in the chatbot;
- assistance from specialists in choosing a taxation system;
- support in applying for grants and financial assistance for business development.
The support will not end at the start of a business but will continue throughout its further operation.
According to the Ministry for Veterans Affairs, there are currently around 1.8 million veterans in Ukraine. To increase trust in the new service, consultations at the tax service will also be provided by servicemen who have returned from the front.
