From now on, students can purchase discounted tickets for suburban trains and the city electric train through the Ukrzaliznytsia app.
To buy a ticket, you need to:
- open the UZ app on your phone;
- select the “Suburban” or “Kyiv City Express” section and specify the departure and arrival stations;
- choose “Student Ticket” instead of a full fare;
- enter the series and number of the student ID – this is mandatory;
- click “Add Discount” and pay.
The student discount is applied automatically at the time of payment.
Currently, online tickets for students are available in 19 regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia.
