Researchers and experts from Ukraine and other countries can participate in the Ukrainian Studies conference «Ukraine in the World», which will take place in Lviv from 8 to 10 July 2026.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Institute, and the Ukrainian Catholic University, in cooperation with the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies and with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
The conference will bring together specialists to discuss the current state of Ukrainian studies and Crimean Tatar studies, as well as the development of these fields globally.
Participants can submit applications to take part in panel discussions, roundtables, or give individual presentations. The organisers are also open to new ideas and formats that meet the contemporary needs of the field.
Our goal is to create a platform that brings together academic centres and individual researchers from around the world around a modern vision of Ukrainian studies and Crimean Tatar studies.

Organisers will provide participants with accommodation, breakfasts, and lunches, and approved candidates will be eligible for travel reimbursement.
The main part of the programme will take place in an underground venue, following safety regulations and with information available about nearby shelters.
