In Ukraine, 1.3 million citizens have already used the fuel cashback programme, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, reported.
Under the programme, Ukrainians receive compensation of:
- 15% on diesel;
- 10% on petrol;
- 5% on autogas.
At current prices, this allows savings of from 2 UAH per litre on autogas and from 11 UAH per litre on diesel, with a maximum monthly cashback of up to 1,000 UAH.
The funds received can be spent on utilities, medicines, Ukrainian-made food products, books, or donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The programme will run until 1 May 2026.
Since the launch of the fuel cashback, over 200,000 new accounts have been opened in the National Cashback system. Overall, the programme is used by 4.4 million Ukrainians.
