In April, the Ukrainian Pension Fund’s online services portal will provide the option to submit applications for housing assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Applications can be submitted using a qualified electronic signature.
It is also possible to apply through a Pension Fund service centre, the local community administration, or a Centre for Administrative Services.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Community of Ukraine has also amended the Resolution regulating housing assistance for IDPs.
Now the assistance will be available to a wider range of recipients: IDP children will receive support regardless of family income, and new opportunities will be provided for persons with disabilities.
In addition, the maximum number of six-month payment periods has increased from four to five. This will allow the most vulnerable IDPs to receive state support for an additional six months.
