The Security Service of Ukraine has updated its contact options for citizens and introduced the new short hotline number – 1516.
Calls to this number are free from any landline or mobile phone throughout Ukraine.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, Russian intelligence agencies have stepped up attempts to recruit Ukrainians for sabotage, terrorist acts, and arson. Citizens are therefore asked to report any suspicious proposals, actions, or individuals.
This also applies to cases where unknown persons distribute offers related to illegal activities online.
The Security Service of Ukraine emphasises that each report is verified and that the information from citizens remains confidential.
