Russian drones are dropping fake banknotes with QR codes that lead to hostile websites

On the morning of 2 April, Russian drones dropped fake 100 UAH banknotes with QR codes leading to hostile websites in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, according to Sumy OVA head Oleg Hryhorov and Koriukivka RDA head Pavlo Miroshnychenko.

Such leaflets were found in two districts of Sumy and in Snizhsk in the Chernihiv region.

They contained hostile messages, and the QR codes directed users to enemy websites.

Authorities urge citizens not to handle these banknotes, not to scan the QR codes, and to immediately report any findings to the police or the State Emergency Service.
